Giving it all to Jesus!

“He who tills (cultivates) his land will be satisfied with bread, But he who follows frivolity (vain things) is devoid of understanding.” Proverbs 12:11

The secret to finding the goodness and favor of Jesus begins with a sacrosanct attitude towards all the details of your life. Nothing is unimportant to Jesus. You cannot skip what you feel is commonplace. 

This Proverb covers all that belongs to a person; your home, cars, investments, physical body, and work. 

How you deal with what you have will affect what you get from Jesus. The Christ follower operates under the microscope of Jesus. He has to take life seriously and apply the truths of Jesus into everything in his life. He cannot choose what is important and what is trivial and not subject to God. 

Jesus wants a believer to dedicate all he has to Him and operate under the standards and values of Jesus. There is no room for lack of responsibility or a careless attitude concerning your resources or work habits. 

The spiritual principle is to commit all things to Jesus and walk with Him by faith. Jesus wants to be the Lord over all in your life and we lose His presence and favor when we hold things back.

Jesus is interested in all your thoughts and decision making. This is where He can mold a believer into His character. You will find Jesus in the common and unattractive activities of life. They may seem unimportant to you but they are life changing to Jesus. This is where Jesus does His greatest work in a believer. 

So whether you are brushing your teeth or taking the trash out do all to please Jesus. Give Jesus your very best and He will reciprocate with His very best!
